Many of these practical ideas are straightforward and easy to adopt. The author draws from her own experience as a mother of two children. Her honesty is refreshingly helpful.

We are to pray for more workers, as well as for those already on the mission field. Those who are called by the Lord on this work must go in obedience. This is a warm, practical, challenging book. Read it, buy it for your minister, pray that it will be greatly used."

20.		A New Kind of Living In thirteen short chapters McQuoid deals with various subjects, including the Holy Spirit, prayer, Bible study, witnessing, baptism and the Lord's Supper. Each chapter ends with a prayer. His thumbnail explanations of the Lord's Prayer, the Beatitudes and the fruit of the Spirit are helpful. McQuoid is clear and concise.

26.		D Is for Depression "Michael Lawson's D is for Depression offers a very balanced and helpful approach. It provides foils to other books, particularly those from North America, which offer an exclusively biological problem. He examines a variety of factors that may cause a person to become depressed - particularly focusing on the role of factors such as bereavement, early experiences and burn out - as well as effects of hormones, genetics and other physical factors. He roots his advice firmly in biblical truth, presenting his useful scriptural perspective on problems of bitterness, guilt, ambition and personal identity."

I cannot recall a Bible exposition more lucidly applying the truth set forth to my heart. It is difficult within the brief compass of this review to do full justice to this excellent book.
