A great service to parents who desire to revive the practice of family worship. Johnson's book provides many practical resources and ideas for actually putting this into practice...an excellent resource for christian families.

The Word Became Fresh
I think Davis succeeds admirably in his goal. I found myself stirred up reading the book. He writes well and shows how, even though there are difficult and confusing parts of Scripture, it is not that difficult to find key truths. This is a very encouraging and helpful book.

Romans - Focus on the Bible
"Paul Barnett's commentary on Romans (Christian Focus; pb., 383 pp.) has been reprinted. It is a good readable, theological exposition which will be very helpful in sermon preparation. He also has a brief summary of the "New Perspective on Paul" which is helpful."
