"I first came across Geraint Fielder's radio broadcasts in the comfort of my kitchen listening to Radio 4's 'Prayer for the Day'. Normally the programme either provides a timely thought to start the day or provokes me to want to throw my teacup at the radio. At first I only half-listened but gradually my attention was arrested (there is no other suitable word) by what the broadcaster had to say. This was the only week that I can remember setting my alarm to make sure that I caught it next day. The broadcaster was Geraint Fielder and although the programme was only a few minutes long it was breathtaking what he could achieve in such a short time. Afterwards other items on religious broadcasting slots became colourless and shallow by comparison. Geraint has a talent, and he uses it well. When you read on you will know exactly what I mean."
