This booklet contains the Shorter Catechism as written at the Westminster Assembly c. 1647. Therefore, we have a series of simple questions and answers concerning the christian faith. The catechism consists of 107 short questions and answers, and divides into two sections: 1. What we are to believe; 2. What we are to do. In addition to the actual catechism, after each individual question and answer, Roderick Lawson gives a few Bible verses proving each point, and an additional brief commentary for further explanation. At the end of the booklet, there are some revision questions, as well as a transcript of the Apostle's Creed. The Shorter Catechism has been of great value down through the years for both young and old. It will also be very helpful for a new christian, seeking to grow and mature in their faith. It simply explains the key matters of the christian faith and is very practical. Worth getting, so that you can be helped to know what you believe, but also, why you believe it!
