Description

Story: Jane and Heather are reunited and decide to try and re-invigorate Heather's church, which has fallen on hard times. They arrange a 'Save our Church' campaign along with the help of a friend's brother who happens to be an environmental campaigner.

The campaign is a disaster and Jane and Heather realise that they didn't pray to God about the situation and cared more about what they wanted than about what God had planned for the situation.

Jane and Heather also learn that you can worship God anywhere and that the church is not a building but it is a group of people worshipping God together.

Throughout the story there is romance, adventure - and lessons to learn about forgiveness and practical Christian love.

AND Jane is writing a new Sandra Richmond fantasy - Sandra has returned to a planet where she once was a prisoner, to see old friends in the Rebel Army. But there's a spy in the ranks.

This book is exciting, funny and fast moving teenage fiction!

Reviews

"Something to Shout About The final and probably most humorous book in the Jane series! Getting involved in saving an old church, Jane meets some amazing and quirky characters and learns something important about listening to God. She's still writing her sci-fi stories but understanding more about God's work done in his power. People have asked if Jane is ‘me' when I was young, but she's not (although I've drawn on some of my experiences - yes, I wrote sci-fi and had a character called Sandra Richmond!); however, I've learned the same kind of lessons as an adult and have hoped to share what I've found out with young people. Families might fall apart, and life might seem to, but once you've got Jesus, you're not alone any more - the message of the Jane books."
