How to Order

We are pleased to announce you can now shop online at www.christianfocus.com. Here's how:

• First, visit any item we have in stock - you can find products by searching for titles, authors, ISBNs or categories using the box at the top left, or use the links directly to the left to browse items by imprint or category.

• When you find an item you are interested in, look for the blue "Shop Now" box on the top right hand side of the page. If the item is available for order, you'll be able to select the number of copies to order Next click the "Add to Basket" button to move things into your shopping basket. You can browse for as long as you like and keep adding things to your basket. If you have cookies enabled then your shopping basket will be saved even between visits to the site, and you may return to purchase them later. [learn more about cookies]

• Once you have items in your shopping basket, you'll see a blue stripe towards the top of the page telling you how many items you currently have in your basket and what the total cost is. When you have found everything you are looking for today, click the "Proceed to Checkout" button that is in the blue stripe.

• You'll next be asked to "Sign In" on our secure server provided by our web development company, clearlybrilliant.com. If this is your first visit, please enter your email address here, select the "No, I am a new customer" option, and click "sign in".

• You'll then be asked to create a christianfocus.com account by entering your name, entering your email address again (we do this as a double-check it is correct - otherwise we wouldn't be able to contact you about your order if there was a problem), and deciding on a password. The password can be anything you choose - please make it something no-one else will easily guess. It will be encrypted by your computer, sent to our server securely over the internet, and then stored encrypted in our database. No-one at Christian Focus Publications will know what your password is or be able to access it.

• Now you'll be asked to confirm your order. Check you have the items you want, and that you have the right number of them. We won't be able to tell you the charge for delivery until we know where we are to deliver to, so the next thing to do is to select a delivery address by clicking the link in the "Delivery Address" section of the page.

• This will prompt you for the details of your address - simply enter your address, select the appropriate shipping zone to help us calculate the cost of delivery, and click "Use this address". You'll be returned to the details of your order again, but will also see the delivery address you have just entered, and a delivery charge will be shown below the items you have ordered. Click the "change address" link under the address should you need to make changes.

• You now need to enter details of the card you will be using for payment. In the "Payment Method" section of the page, follow the link to select a payment method.

• You'll be prompted for the details of your credit card. We are pleased to be able to accept Visa, MasterCard, Eurocard, Switch, Maestro, Visa Delta (sometimes also called Visa Debit), Solo, JCB and Cirrus cards. Details you enter will be encrypted by your computer before being sent over the internet to our computer where they are encrypted and stored for use in order processing. If your card does not have a "valid from" date or an "issue number", simply leave those boxes blank. In the box marked "CCV", enter the last three digits of the number you have on the signature strip of your card.

• You'll be returned once more to the details of your order, now including the delivery address and your payment details. Click "Place your order" to place the order - until you click this button, the order is not recorded by our systems. When you click, order details will be stored in our database for processing. We usually dispatch orders the next business day.

• Should you need to cancel your order, you can do so only if we have not begun processing. You can find this out from the "My Account" area of the website reached from the link at the top right of every page. Click here, then "See orders awaiting processing". Find the relevant order, click "View order details", and then click the "Cancel order" button.

Order Delivery

Christian Focus Publications aim to provide excellent value for money, but at the same time we must cover our own costs -- for smaller orders, postage and handling can be a significant expense, particularly for more distant destinations. To this end we offer a flat shipping rate for each of four simple "shipping zones" to cover our costs, but are extremely pleased to offer our customers free shipping on larger orders.

All orders are delivered through reputable carriers, and we typically dispatch orders within one business day of receiving them. Unfortunately it is difficult to give specific guidance on expected delivery times as there are many internal and external factors impacting the ability of our carriers to deliver goods.

The table below sets out the flat rate charges for each zone, and an order size at which we are able to offer free delivery:
