BISAC – REL091000
You only get to raise your children once and your little ones need to know the big truths of God – Christ, sin, salvation and the gospel. Sing and Play Big Bible Truths is the perfect tool to introduce babies and toddlers to the Bible truths they need to learn now and for later on in life. Bethany Darwin uses the tools of repetition, familiarity and interactive activities to build crucial theological foundations.
Bethany is a full–time homemaker who recently ‘retired’ from children’s ministry after serving for twenty years in four different churches, including most recently thirteen years at the United Christian Church of Dubai. She is a graduate of Samford University where she studied Human Development and Family Studies, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MA in Christian Education – Children’s Ministry). She loves to write materials to help children better understand the gospel, and has written for several publications. She also spends a lot of her free time writing a food blog and playing with their 1–year–old son.
Biblical. Practical. Inspirational. I particularly valued the clarity on the gospel and the age–appropriate strategies for sharing the gospel with this age group.
Senior Pastor, Faith Bible Church, Naples, Florida
Bethany is a gifted, God–centered teacher. ‘Sing and Play Big Truths’ is clear, creative, and fun – a great resource to bless our little brothers and sisters in Christ
Pastor's wife, Mom of four, Author of 'Missional Motherhood' and 'Alive in Him'
Bethany Darwin has an amazing gift for creatively placing big truths in settings that make it easy and very enjoyable for children to see and appreciate just what those truths are. The songs and activities she has devised will delight not only the children, but the parents who will be thrilled to be able to use such an attractive and reliable guide book.
Professor of Christian Theology, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky
What a fun way to get weighty doctrine into the minds and souls of toddlers! We heartily recommend this book.
