This Christmas story begins rightly in Eden, explaining not just that Jesus came, but also what prompted His coming, namely humanity's fall into sin. Beautifully written and illustrated, this Christmas story clearly emphasizes what the Scriptures emphasize, that Jesus Christ is God's gift to us, the Savior of the world, who came into the world to save us from our sins. I look forward to reading The Christmas Story with my own children and recommending it to family and friends, not only during advent, but throughout the year as a precious reminder of who Christ is and why He came.
