New Release - I Am My Sister's Keeper: Reaching Out to Wounded Women by Denise George

Gavin MacKenzie

In a world of hurting women, I Am My Sister’s Keeper guides Christian women in reaching out to wounded hearts.

Through compelling stories and her own tested wisdom, author Denise George compassionately and Biblically addresses issues like broken relationships and divorce; unforgiveness and bitterness; loneliness and discouragement; spouse abuse; childhood sexual abuse; children who commit suicide; and loss and grief. Applying Scriptural truth, George guides readers in how to pray, offer a listening ear, share from their own past experiences and encourage others with God’s promises.

With a complete Bible study guide included, I Am My Sister’s Keeper is an ideal resource for groups of women to study and apply together. With the love of Jesus poured out through his followers, hurting women begin to overcome painful circumstances. Through our hearts and our hands, God still heals wounded women.

Praise for I Am My Sister's Keeper:

"Denise George writes from many years of experience of ministering to women. This book is faithful in portraying the reality of intense suffering in a fallen world, but equally faithful in presenting the resources for healing available to all in Christ. It will be a great resource for Christian women who are concerned to show Christ-like love to those who are suffering.

Sharon James ~ Conference speaker and author Leamington Spa, England

"I found I Am My Sister's Keeper a genuinely Christian response to particular issues that cause much suffering among many women in today's world. It motivated me to care more deeply for women I meet by sensitively listening to their stories, praying for and with them, showing practical love, and especially by sharing God's love for them in Jesus."

Moya Woodhouse ~ Faculty wife at Moore College, Sydney, Australia

“Do you have the gift of mercy? If you do…this book will be right up your ally. You’ll love the practical insights it offers to women who have a strong urge to help other women in crisis…and it will resonate with your own heart of compassion.

Do you NOT have the gift of mercy? (That would be me.) Then you need a book like this to convict your spirit…and inspire a tender heart and desire to grow in kindness.”
